Ticket Sales & Revenue Experience

My Role:

As senior marketing manager, I played a key role in shaping the Golden State Valkyries’ ticket experience and revenue strategy for the franchise’s historic 2025 inaugural season, one that redefined demand and attendance across the WNBA.

Building the Founding Guard:

Helped develop and execute the Founding Guard inaugural season ticket program in partnership with Chase Bank. Members received exclusive leatherman jackets, creating a visible symbol of pride and belonging. The jackets quickly became a coveted item worn throughout the Bay Area, fueling word-of-mouth momentum and helping drive unprecedented season ticket demand.

Driving Demand Through Experience:

To broaden access and sustain sellout momentum, I supported the launch of flexible mini plans and group ticket packages, reinforced by full-building giveaway incentives designed to enhance the in-arena experience and reward fans for showing up together.

Historic Result:

  • 10,000+ season tickets sold (WNBA record)

  • 22,000+ season ticket deposits (WNBA record)

  • 22 of 22 home games sold out

  • 397,408 total attendance — highest single-season total in league history

  • 18,064 average attendance per game

The Result:

Our sellout success not only transformed the Valkyries’ inaugural season but also contributed to increased overall attendance across the WNBA, setting a new standard for what fan demand can look like in women’s professional sports.

The Golden State Valkyries have made WNBA history yet again, setting a new league attendance record by selling out all 22 of the 2025 expansion team’s home games this year — and doing so in their debut season.
